I’m a blogger, journalist and film programmer from Hamburg, Germany. While researching the films "Black Christmas" and "When a Stranger Calls" which I will present next weekend in Hamburg I stumbled upon your book "Vocal Tracks". Since I am especially interested in the uncanny aural aspects of the telephone, I was delighted to see the chapter "Phony Performances" which not only deals with the two films but also places them in a cultural history of phone pranks.
